  2. I participated to an open photo contest (Digirundi 2009) with my friend. The contest lasted for eight hours, and the teams were supposed to take ten photos during that time period. The topics of the photos were given to teams in the beginning of the competition.

    I think our team took really good pictures, even though we did not rank among the top teams of the competition. Unfortunately I can publish only one of the contest photos because of the strict principles of this blog (no publishing of multiple photos from same day!).

    The photo here is not actually a contest photo. It's same kind as the photo we submitted to category "Street life", but not exactly the same.

    I like this photo. The motion is frozen to a quite nice position. I used the Tv mode of the camera in order to achieve this. The shadow in the lowest part of the photo gives nice contrast. I think the colors are also nice, even though maybe a bit messy and pale (there is red, blue and two kinds of green in the photo).
